Summer 2011.....



Summer 2010

Session 1:  Oh, They're so Polite!:  Manners Unit

  • Integrated Spanish and Sign Language
  • Bee Polite Tea Party
  • Royal Rewards Manners Crowns
  • Role Play with handmade Puppets
  • Scrapbooks with photos of us having a ball!

 

Session 2:  Giving Back to the Community & Loving It:  Community Service Unit

  • Children gathered donations for Mission Arlington
  • Children gathered and organized a care package for a soldier in Iraq
  • Worked in collaboration with A Wish With Wings to create Wish Bags for children with life threatening illnesses being granted a wish. 
  • Children helped create blankets for A Wish With Wings recipients
  • Children learned how to use their talents to help others
  • Planted plants to beautify their community
