The perfect beginning to your child's education.... Dear Parents: As a parent of young children I know just what it is like to search for that perfect place to nurture your children the way you would as well as offer them the social and educational experiences that will create that perfect beginning to their academic careers. I first experienced The Primer as a parent and fell in love with all that the quaint little building and highly qualified teachers had to offer my son. It was this that inspired me, an elementary teacher of ten years, to purchase this school. We are committed to providing experiences that prepare your child to successfully transition from home to the school environment. We focus on helping them develop self-expression, self-control, creativity and responsibility while creating a strong foundation in educational concepts. We are committed to doing all of this in a supportive, loving, secure environment. Our teaching staff has been carefully selected to insure proper motivation and loving care throughout your child’s time with us. In fact, most of our teachers have been here for over 10 years. Our curriculum is individualized for each age group and is rich in creative activities, literature, music, art, role-playing, high interest centers and learning integrated in to every thing we do. I am confident that what we have to offer is the highest quality of care and academics.

All of our teachers have taught in excess of 10 years.
We are an independently owned, private school in humble schoolhouse buildings which truly lends to the warm, personal atmosphere that is unique to The Primer. I am an onsight owner, director and teacher therefore I am personally involved in the daily curriculum, activities, and well being of our students.
Our curriculum has been developed over many years and includes the perfect blend of hands-on activities, developmentally appropriate expectations, arts and craft projects, music and movement, calendar time, math and pencil paper activities. We offer a variety of enrichment opportunities through programs such as Spanish, Art and Kindermusic. We do not have a worksheet driven curriculum and do not send homework home for our children.
